Sometimes even your favorite dishes can become a little flat and boring.  Have no fear, though, tea lover – the answer is simple: add a little tea.

sal-TEA!In this case, I mean in the form of Matcha Salt.  It is super-easy to make, relatively inexpensive and adds an exotic flavor and bright color to any dish!

Here’s the recipe:

Matcha Salt

1 cup kosher salt (or a coarse sea salt)

4 teaspoons matcha

Simply mix for 5 or 6 pulses in a food processor and enjoy with your favorite foods (recommended on grilled fish, poached eggs, tofu – even chocolate!).
