With Father’s Day just behind us (Happy Father’s Day, Dad, by the way- oops!), this report couldn’t come at a more appropriate time: according to a new study carried out by researchers in Philadelphia, tea may actually be able to slow the progression of prostate cancer.
The study consisted of a group of 26 men in total between the ages of 41 and 72-years old.
All of the men had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and all had to go through prostate surgery. When some were given a routine intake of tea, researchers found was that those who took the tea had a major reduction in terms of the progression of their prostate cancer.
So, Dad, do yourself a favor: drink some tea!
