The year was 1918.
It was the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
The war which tore the world apart had lasted more than four grueling years, but had finally come to an end.
More than 15 million people were killed, making it one of the deadliest conflicts in history.
And so today we honor those brave veterans on the 91st anniversary of that day, which has become known as Veterans Day.
As a tea sommelier, I usually drink more tea than the average Joe – about 6-8 cups a day.
But in honor of this special day, I’m going to bump that up to 11 cups – hope you will too!
