uh-oh, hope he had tea on his wishlist! However, according to a new study from Lund University in Sweden, there may be a way to quell those season’s eatings: tea.

Researchers found that a meal accompanied with a nice cup of tea increases the feeling of satiety, the body’s desire to limit further food intake.

Subjects who just had water with their meal found it significantly more pleasurable to keep eating than those who had a properly paired tea with the exact same meal.  Meaning that just by drinking tea instead of water, your body wants to eat less.

There’s one New Year’s Resolution you won’t have to make!
