Looking for something refreshing and healthy to beat the heat?
This concoction works well as a punch (spiked with Cava for adults!) and can also be frozen into delicious Tea-Pops! Using the quintessential summer fruit, watermelon, and (of course) some great tea, it is packed full of flavor and antioxidants.
Green Watermelon Punch
1/2 a seedless watermelon, cut into cubes
2 cups Pom Green, chilled
1 cup grape juice
1/4 cup lime juice
2 cups Cava, or another sparkling wine (optional)
Add watermelon cubes to a blender, blend until it becomes a smooth puree. With a fine sieve, strain into bowl, and put both strainer and bowl in refrigerator for 2 hours (it takes a while to fully strain). You now have watermelon juice!
In large pitcher, add watermelon juice, green tea, grape juice, lime juice and cava. Mix well and chill. Serve over ice.
